Weekly Monster

by admin on July 30, 2009

Name: Ruby Tuesday
Breed: Dachshund

Activities: In her spare time, Ruby enjoys dismembering toys to destroy their squeakers, playing fetch half heartedly with said toys, watching other dogs play at the dog park while she pretends she’s a human, and sleeping under the covers. During the day, she also enjoys moving around the living room to soak up the sun from the skylight like a cat. Ruby Tuesday lives for breakfast and dinner time because she loves her homemade dog food, which makes her think she’s eating human food.

Personality Traits: Ruby is an early bird, and is ready to wake up as soon as the sun comes up. Along with not sleeping in, Ruby likes to be a nosey neighbor and perch on the back of the sofa and keep watch over what it going on in the neighborhood from the second floor….her bark is much bigger than she is and she is protective over her people. She knows the power of being adorable, and makes crazy bird noises to express when she wants something. She is addicted to treats from Polka Dog bakery in Boston and will sit pretty like a circus dog to prove it. Ruby is a good traveller and loves to go on trips with her family, and enjoys long car rides and sniffing new things along the way on the open road.

Distracted

This past weekend we made lots of cookies. Ok, I did and Tilda watched from the living room as she was not allowed in the kitchen. Sorry for the delay in posting!

Weekly Monster

by admin on July 24, 2009

Name: Sadie
Breed: Chow Chow/Golden Retriever Mix
Activities: Sadie is a big fan of running for balls at the dog park along side other dogs, but she has no desire whatsoever to actually get the ball. She’s in it for the run, and the occasional jump over small dogs that might be in her way.
Personality Traits: Sadie is so well behaved, even to the point that if she’s told not to bark, she’ll whisper-bark. Pretty fabulous when a dog knows when to use her indoor voice. She gets a lot of attention out in the world, being likened to everything from a red fox to an ewok, but so far the attention has not gone to her head.
