Terriers, Terrorists…

by admin on September 29, 2009

After receiving a sweet email from Angela of Paper Menagerie, we rushed right over to look at her work. Seems that we were once Boston Handmade Girls together and since I only was a member for a short time, I completely forgot about her lovely dog-related work. Tilda and I spent some time on Angela’s etsy site and we couldn’t choose which to feature, either the Terrier Magnets or the Jack Russell Terrorist card, so we went with both.

First, this adorable set of terrier magnets, made from 1960s dog breed diagrams features a Boston and a Bull Terrier on a bright yellow background. Each magnet is approximately one inch diameter and made by hand.

And second, the Terrier Terrorist card features a vintage illustration of a Jack Russell with the text “Figure 1: Jack Russell Terrorist” underneath. Sure to be a hit with dog lovers and linguists alike. Each card is hand-printed and arrives with a matching envelope.

Love them both! Tilda wants to know where the bulldog representation is. Hee Hee.

When Two Become Three

by admin on September 18, 2009

More and more pet-loving couples are including their dogs in the wedding party. We consider them a big part of the family, so it’s only natural that they should be there too. And of course, they should dress the part. Enter Mekala of Tie that Binds. She has just included in her line of unique wedding products this great screen-printed dog tee with the quote “When Two Become Three.” Available in many sizes and colors. Too cute!

Airstream Bling

by admin on September 15, 2009

Kristiana Spaulding of Silver Trailer is an Airstream junky. She not only owns and rents out six Airstreams of her own but they also act as her design studio for showcasing her jewelry and artwork! It figures that she would develop an Airstream trailer pendant for our 4-legged friends. Kristiana’s co-pilot is shown proudly wearing the lucky dog sterling silver trailer pendant in front of one of her infamous trailers. “Whether you have an Airstream or not, your dog will represent!”
